Food has always had a way of bringing people together. Across our communities, talented home cooks have been making and selling food for years, often through informal, fragmented channels without a clear path to licensing or a centralized place to operate. Turning that passion into a legitimate business can feel overwhelming. From licensing and paperwork to presenting their food, selling online, and finding customers, there’s a lot to figure out before that first order.
Hearthfare was built to change that. We bring it all together in one centralized platform — helping cooks get licensed, build their Hearth, market and manage their business, reach local customers, and start selling with confidence. By creating new opportunities for local cooks and connecting neighbors through homemade food, Hearthfare helps build stronger, more connected communities.
What is a Hearth?
A ‘Hearth’ is a home cook and their licensed home kitchen — inspired by the heart of the home, where food is made, people gather, and connections are formed.
