    Follow a few simple guided steps based on your county. Hearthfare helps organize what you need, what to prepare, and what to submit.

    Already permitted? Upload your current documents, and once verified by a Hearthfare Account Manager, you can open your Hearth and start selling right away.

Before you order

How do I know a Hearth is licensed and verified?

Every Hearth holds a county permit for its home kitchen, and Hearthfare verifies it before the storefront can take a single order. A Hearth only opens once its licensing documents are on file, its compliance attestation is complete, Stripe is connected, and a Hearthfare Account Manager has approved it.

Can I pick up my order or dine in at the Hearth?

Both, where the cook offers them. Each Hearth sets its own pickup windows, dine-in capacity and instructions, and you choose at checkout. There is no delivery today.

What should I know about allergies and food safety?

This is a home kitchen, not a segregated commercial one. Each Hearth lists its food details, and at checkout you’ll see and accept the allergy and home-kitchen disclosures for that order — we ask you to read them rather than bury them in a footer.

What are the transaction fees per order for customers?

One Hearthfare Platform Fee per order: 6% of your order subtotal or $2.50, whichever is greater. It is shown as its own line at checkout, alongside tax, before you pay. This fee helps support the operation, technology, and services provided by Hearthfare. No tip is required.
